The product, in the report: Bell + Howell Rechargeable LED Light Bar Portable Under Cabinet Lights 1000 Lumens Motion Sensor

While charging light for the first time we heard a popping sound. I reached to turn off the surge protector next to me as unsure what caused sound. We were charging and using 2 phones on same surge protector at the same time. I felt a lot of heat coming off the light bar. I unplugged it and the one end was burning hot. Was able to grab from other end and noticed smoke coming out of several locations on it. Hand to son who ran it outside to a safer location. If it exploded or burned more. He said the light was flashing when he put in the middle of the yard and that smoke came out for about 10 min. At least hard to tell in the dark and not wanting to be too close to it. The next morning the light was not flashing the kick stand and power buttons are melted in place
