The product, in the report: The product is an Aloha Breeze ceiling fan with a single glass light kit. Their are 6 fan blades. 3 speeds with reverse operation. 25 year limited warranty. It is made by Aloha Housewares, Inc. Arlington, Texas
We purchased 2 of these fans for use in a small space. The fan blades are primary colors on one side and pastels on the other. My daughter spray painted the blades white. She installed one of the fans in my galley kitchen and the other in a reading nook I have in my living room. They were installed on Saturday, October 8, 2011. They both worked fine. In the middle of the night last night, October 12, 2011, I heard a crash in my kitchen. When I got up to investigate I noticed white glass on the floor. When I looked around to see where it came from I saw that the glass globe of the ceilng fan had basically exploded. Neither the fan nor the light were on at that time.
