The product, in the report: Self ballasted Lamp 13w 120V 60Hz bulb (The following numbers were listed on the pictures - E13799 and 5K53)
A 13w CFL bulb malfunctioned and had the potential to start a catastrophic fire. My 7 year old daughter said her light was flickering and smelt. A awful acridic smell was coming from the bulb. We swiched off the light and had to use a towel to unscrew the bulb from the socket. It was so hot that it would have caught any nearby combustibles on fire if we didn’t shut it off in time. The unit was schorched where the glass tube enters the ballast area on the CFL. The unit is made by Energeticlighting or Zhejiang Yankon Group Co. LTD (as far as we could research a Company in China).
