The product, in the report: Toolmart cfl compact florescent bulb 25 watt.
We installed a cfl into a ceiling fan light fixture about 2 years ago. It is a Toolmart 25w cfl (compact florescent light bulb). Tonight, the bulb burst into flames and the base separated from the glass bulb, exposing the internal cercuitry which was on fire. A family member in the kitchen immediately turned off the light and stood on a chair to put the flame out.The bulb was hanging from the fixture with the circuitry exposed. We are very fortunate that someone was in the kitchen at the time or a serious fire could have occurred.
