The product, in the report: Light bulb
This is concerning Westinghouse Timeless Vintage Inspired Bulbs (60watt light bulbs #01432). Since March or April 2017, 3 out of 10 bulbs have shattered. Without being touched or otherwise subjected to any force or human contact of any kind, the glass portion of the light bulbs has exploded. Twice while the bulbs were not powered on. The third time it exploded upon use of the light switch. This time it damaged, although slight, the counter top and scratched the wood floor. This could have resulted in serious injury including blindness. VERY UNACCEPTABLE. Although Westinghouse has sent us 12 new bulbs after the first two incidents this third occurrence is even more troubling.
