The product, in the report: Swiss LED 20 watt bulb.
On 7/12/2016 I was awaken to my wife screaming there was a fire in the house. Without know where it was I ran to our fire extinguisher. Locating my wife in the living room it was clear our floor lamp was on fire near the top of the glass base. I promptly put the fire out with the extinguisher and turned off the power to the house. We immediately exited the house after the fire was put out. When I returned to inspect I noticed the base of the bulb was burned. After speaking with my wife the floor lamp was not on at the time of the fire. She simply turned the lamp on and the fire started. We have never had an issue with the lamp with incandescent or CFL bulbs. The bulb that caught on fire was a Swiss Led Bulb purchased from Fry’s electronics in Industry CA.
