Luckily we were home when this event happened. My husband was sitting in the living room and heard a weird noise coming from the entry way of our home. He looked and smoke and flames were coming from a bankers lamp on our desk luckily there wasn’t anything combustable near it and as I said we were home. It was the compact fluoresent bulb and it was so hot we couldn’t unscrew it. It says Super Lite PL-18ESP/CW on the bulb.
