The product, in the report: Rejuvenation branded vanity light: Greenwich Triple Sconce , Oil-Rubbed Bronze , Alabaster Stone Bowl Shade. Product number #9497010
Two glass globes from a bathroom vanity light (Rejuvenation brand) exploded. The two glass globes exploded in two separate occasions within a few days from each other. On both occasions, no one was in the bathroom, and the vanity light was not in use. The vanity lights were installed by professional electricians and the light bulbs are within the specifications (also the recommended light bulb by the brand website itself). I reached out to Rejuvenation customer service, asking for a solution, which includes replacement of another vanity light, changing their specifications of the light bulb if it was not correct. Both recommendations got turned down due to the age of the product (around 1 year). I later demanded that the brand needs to put disclaimer on their website: product life is around 1 year and use at your own risk after that time period. No resolution was provided and now the bathroom (my kids’ bathroom) is locked up to avoid injury.
