The product, in the report: chandelier light bulbs
(02/01/2017) The consumer stated that his wife removed the plastic sleeve from the light bulb. When she screwed the bulb into the chandelier, the bulb exploded.
The consumer contacted Kichler. He was referred to Ankon. The consumer received a letter from Ankon that acknowledged that there should have been instructions on the box to advise him of the sleeves.
The consumer also contacted his local Lowes and they removed the bulbs and the chandeliers but had to place them back on the shelves because of a contract with the manufacturer
