  1. No one hurt

Made Nov 25, 2016, sent to the company Dec 6, 2016, published by CPSC Dec 20, 2016

The product, in the report: http://www.solarilluminations.com/Replacement-LED-Light-Bulb?search=RL01

We ordered two LED light bulbs from SolarIlluminations.com - Order 10045408. The website pictured the bulbs with E27/E27 bases, which are industry standard 110V to 220V electric light bulb mogul bases. We ordered two and they were shipped to us in a shipping box. Inside the two bulbs were bubble wrapped, in no box, with no marking of the voltage required, with no instructions, warnings or other notice that these bulbs were for and voltage intended. My son received the box from [REDACTED] and opened it, saw the bulbs were standard 110V bases, and installed them. The bulbs both popped and one blew a breaker and the other one, on another breaker, did not blow the breaker and started to smoke. My son unscrewed it and stopped the smoking.

We notified the seller and their response was to chastise us for ordering the wrong bulb, which according to their small print on their web site was for 12V, even though the picture showed the industry standard E26/E27 high voltage base.

Our house could of burned down because of this unsafe, unmarked product that does not conform to USA electric code https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edison_screw and they built and market a dangerous product which can injure, kill or cause serious property damage.
