The product, in the report: Good Earth Lighting, E300850 Lamp Adapter 61Y6 Model / light bulb
The bulb broke, releasing Mercury into the air and creating a broken glass hazard. I purchased a ceiling mounted fixture at Lowes. It came with a Good Earth Lighting, E300850 Lamp Adapter 61Y6 Model B2427-30-SP 120V 60Hz 27W 0.450A 3000K 82CRI, also labeled E300 Lamp Adapter 61Y6. The lamp looks like a regular lamp base, but with 2 pins. However, when I tried to unscrew the bulb, it broke and sent glass everywhere. The lamp should be labeled as a non-screw-tpe bulb. Even after it broke, I tried to unscrew the bulb from the ‘adapter’ because it is labeled as such. It is not an adapter, but is integral with the bulb.
