No incident, no one hurt Made Sep 24, 2022, sent to the company Oct 3, 2022, published by CPSC Oct 18, 2022
The product, in the report: C9 Christmas replacement bulbs LED
I bought a large number of outdoor replacement bulbs (according to the picture on the box, the traditional use of C9 bulbs, and that most sets they fit in are outdoor only) Despite the picture on the box of outdoor decorations, there was a tiny note saying damp locations. I called the company who said they cannot get wet. I asked about the picture of outdoor and they said it was for advertising only. This would be like showing tires on an Interstate, but the fine print says do not drive over 25 MPH. Nowhere on the bulb does it say dame locations, and these bulbs can be mixed up with waterproof bulbs.
