The product, in the report: G7 Elko LED BR30 Light Bulb, Dimmable Warm White Light 2700K, 15 Watt, 1210 Lumen
My dining room fixture has five Elko G7BR301527SD 15w 1210 lumen bulbs produced by G7 Power. These were provided to me in 2015 as warranty replacements for another discontinued set where the bulbs all failed within 1 year of purchase. The bulbs were advertised as having a 10 year warranty.
Two weeks earlier, the bulb began lightly flickering during use, and continued to do so whenever the bulb was powered on. Today, the bulb completely stopped working. When I went to remove the failed bulb, I experienced a moderate electric shock. I observed that the base had partially separated from the bulb, and additionally the base was also burning hot.
I attempted to contact the manufacturer by emailing support@g7power.com, their main contact email address where I had reached them previously, and the email bounced. Additionally their website is not working.
