    The product, in the report: Boxlood MR16 3000K Non-Dim LED light bulb. Bulb markings are exactly: Boxlood MR16 5W 450lm AC/DC12V 3000K Non-Dim 80RA 40°

A Boxlood MR16 LED [light] bulb in my hallway failed this morning. I noticed the bulb flickering and emitting a lot of smoke. After removing power from the fixture and removing the bulb, I found that the bulb had severe scorch marks and melting on the back. I believe that if I had not noticed it when I did, the bulb and/or fixture would have caught fire. Thankfully nobody was injured, but the light fixture took cosmetic damage. This lamp had been in use for about 18 months in ceiling track light fixture. I am reporting this out of concern for fire risk and will be replacing the other bulbs from this set today in my house.
