I was using it in my kitchen and it tipped causing me to fall against my granite countertop and broke my shoulder. I also hit my head causing a black eye. My husband was witness to this incident

    I was using the TopFun 8” 17” Folding Step Stool and when I reached to the left the stool collapsed and I fell into the kitchen cabinets and countertop resulting in bruises and soreness. I folded up the stool and haven’t felt confident to use it since this happened.

    I received a recall alert in Amazon on a product I purchased for my father :Topfun 8” 17” Folding 2-Step Stool, Non-Slip Fold Stools for Adults or Kids, Hold up to 300 lbs, Portable Footstool for Kitchen Home Toilet Bedroom Office RV. We were on vacation Summer of 2023 and he was using it to pack up the car and it collapsed. He fell and fractured his shoulder. Seeing this recall made me want to report there was an injury resulting from using this product.

    My toddler fell off the Topfun step stool that was recently recalled. He was stood on the top step at a sink then when he moved it fell over causing him to fall and hit his mouth on the stool during the fall. This impacted one of his from teeth into his gums. I know the stool has already been recalled, but I thought it is important to share our information anyways. Im frustrated because this accident happened after your organization issued the recall, but Amazon didnt notify customers until April 15. Considering the product was sold exclusively by Amazon Im amazed it took them that long to circulate the information. I am now signed up for email notifications from your organization for future recall notices.

    I received an email from Amazon Consumer Product Safety Team. I purchased “Topfun 8” 17” Folding 2-Step Stool, Non-Slip Fold Stools for Adults or Kids, Hold up to 300 lbs, Portable Footstool” in July 2023 and on Sept 8, 2023 I was on the stool reaching for an item in my closet and ended up on the floor with a dislocated left shoulder. Proceeded to go to the ER and it was reset and needed to FU with an Orthopedic. The orthopedic discovered as a result of the fall I broke my shoulder and also ruptured my labrum and had multiple soft tissue damage.
