Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: White children’s step stool with 2 hinged sides and a hinged bottom platform so the product can be folded for storage.

Hello, firstly I’d like to thank you for reading this overview. I hope there is some basis for corrective action to be taken. My wife and I bought a product off of Walmart.com from a third party seller (Naomi Home) that states it is rated up to 125lbs but my ~25lb child injured himself this morning due to the product breaking and him then falling through it. The product has since been updated on Walmart so it has some differences to what is currently shown on their website but the Naomi Home site still has the product that we bought advertised. I have pictures of the product and of the injuries my Chile’s sustained as a result of this. My main concern here is to make sure something is done so other children don’t get hurt due to this product. I reached out to Walmart to report this issue but their response was that the product was outside the return window - no mention of reporting this injury or any action to remove this from their website or otherwise escalate the matter; which again is my main concern.
