The product, in the report: folding stool

on April 28, 2012 i purchased a cramer task it 50051pk-82 from amazon.com and on july 30, 2012 i used this stool for the first or second time (i can’t remember if used before) and as i was hanging a shower curtain liner it broke and caused me to fall. when i fell i hit a piece of wooden furniture and hit my left side right on my rib cage, at the time i did not think it was very serious but as the day and night went on it became more painful so i went to the emergency room on the 31st of july and they took xrays, luckily nothing was broken and i was just badly bruised, which i am still very sore and it is now the 8th of august. i returned the stool to amazon as they instructed but i did take pictures of it before i sent it back . i did receive a refund from amazon less a restocking fee but not sure why i had to pay that as it was pulled from their website until this was investigated and besides that it was broken how can they restock it. if you need additional information please advise
