The product, in the report: Cove Place Easy Fold Step Stool 13 inch high (holds up to 300 lbs)
While giving our toddler a bath, my husband was sitting on the Cove Place Easy Fold Step Stool while holding our toddler in his arms. As he began to place the toddler into the baby bathtub, the step stool suddenly broke and collapsed. My husband fell backward onto the floor, landing on his buttocks, while still holding the toddler in his arms. He was able to keep hold of the toddler and prevent the toddler from falling. The stool broke during normal use and without warning, creating a serious fall and injury hazard, especially because it was being used while holding a toddler.
