The product, in the report: Area Rugs, 5x8 feet ,Grey

I recently bought an Olanly rug from Amazon, and it nearly caused a disaster. After washing it and laying it out for just two days, my nephew was playing with his toy airplane on it when he slipped because the rug was way too slick. He fell, knocked over a scented candle on the table, and the candle dropped onto the rug, setting it on fire instantly. I heard my nephew crying, ran over, and saw the rug already burning. Luckily, I grabbed a nearby cup of water and put the fire out fast. If I hadnt been home, my nephew couldve been in serious dangerhonestly, its scary to even think about.

Now Im wondering if I should keep such a big rug in my house. I did some research online and learned that rugs sold in the U.S. have to meet strict fire safety rules. But this one? A tiny candle burned a huge hole in it, so it obviously doesnt meet those standards. Amazons supposed to make sure their products are safe, especially when theyre using pictures of kids playing to sell them to families. This is ridiculousit feels like theyre just messing around with family safety.
