The product, in the report: It is called a Chrome Tip Toe Bathtub Tub Drain Conversion Kit Assembly, Wellup Tub Drain Trim Kit selling for $23.79 on Amazon. Wellup kitchen and bathroom fixtures is the seller. The brass adaptor is intended to make the drain assembly a universal fit, however, it has sharp threads and there is nowhere to grip the adaptor that is safe. There were no instructions provided with product and therefore there was no safety warning.
I purchased a Chrome tip toe bathtub drain convesion kit assembly, Wellup Tub Drain Trim Kit from Amazon.com which includes what appears to be an aftermarket threaded brass adapter with very sharp threads and when I attempted to install it with the adaptor it got stuck and when I tried to loosen it, it cut my fingers and caused them to bleed.
