  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jan 19, 2013, sent to the company Feb 1, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 15, 2013

The product, in the report: This is an automatic toothpaste dispenser that is mounted on a vertical surface with suction cups. A tube of toothpaste is inserted into it, and one depresses a lever with the end of the toothbrush to dispense the toothpaste.

We had two “touch n brush” dispensers mounted on a large mirror over a vanity. (The mirror was approximately 4’x3’, and properly mounted with brackets and anchors.) My 10 year old child, who is very small, was attempting to clean her mirror. She pulled on the dispenser to try to release the suctions cups. The mirror pulled completely out of the wall, fell on her, and shattered. She is very fortunate that she sustained only a large bruise on her arm.
