The product, in the report: Bath Mat UPC Code: 70631066812
REDACTED-PII Venturi, Inc. 2299 Traversefield Drive Traverse City, MI 49686 July 3, 2019 Dear Customer Service Department: Recently my wife replaced a bath mat, that worked perfectly well but had become mildewed, with your product, bearing the UPC code 70631066812, from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Stepping out of the tub after installing your bath mat, with one foot firmly on the dry bathroom floor, the bath mat slipped away as my trailing foot pushed to lift over the tub edge. No fall. Just concern. Entering the tub the next day I was quite particular about ensuring that your bath mat was secured firmly to the bottom of the tub. I ran hot water over the mat before stepping in, and I carefully pressed all about the top of the mat to ensure the suction cups adhered. However I noticed that the mat slid about whenever pressure was applied from any direction other that straight down. I have replaced your product with a Gorilla Grip bath mat that works exactly as a bath mat should, and I write to say your product is unsafe. Sincerely yours, [REDACTED] cc: Consumer Product Safety Commission 4330 East West Hwy. Bethesda, MD 20814
