The product, in the report: Titan Premium Aluminum Tension Corner Caddy Rust Proof Model 2137ALBB (Satin Chrome) 9.75 inches Wide x 108 inches Height x 9.75 inches Depth
I believe the Titan Premium Aluminum Tension Corner Caddy is an unsafe product and poses a major safety concern because it is unstable. On 8-11-2017, I bought the item for the bathtub to put soaps, shampoos, etc., on it. It advertised as “Rust Proof” and “Never Rust Guaranteed for Life” on the box. My son and I followed the directions and set it up in the left corner of the bathtub opposite the shower and bathtub fixtures. It toppled within two days into the shower curtain. The top of the caddy fell over like a tree. We set it up two more times and the same thing happened. Today was the third time. No one was using the shower or tub when each incident occurred. All soaps, shampoo bottles, etc., were scattered inside and outside the tub. This is an unsafe product because it fell for no apparent reason. If someone had happened to be using the tub, they could have sustained injuries from the metal pole, shelves and/or items in the shelves crashing onto them. If a child or a baby were in the tub, a serious injury could occur. The shelves have protruding metal hook-like arms to hold things like wash cloths which could cause injuries. I also went on the web site of the store I purchased it from and 8 out of nine people reviewing it reported that it did not stay up for them either. I saw these reviews after I bought it. Again, I state that this is an unsafe product due to the instability of the pole which topples over for no reason.
