The product, in the report: Moen shower safety bar, model No.LR2308 12” suction mounted.
Moen LR2308 12” shower safety bar.
This bar is powered by suction and is not permanently attached to the wall.
I live in an apartment and no space to attach a safety bar to a wall stud.
My tub is made of plastic type material and should hold a suction as the walls are smooth. THe first time I tried using it, exiting from the tub, it fell. I tried it several times and it has never held its suction. It actually fell into the tub when no one was in the bathroom.
This bar gives the impression that it’s secure and safe to use. It is not and for that reason I strongly believe it needs to be recalled.
