RE: PRODUCT AQUARUG BEING RETURNED/Enclosed Gentlemen: This will confirm the phone conversation I initiated today with your agent, [REDACTED] 973/287 -5149 during which I complained about this product which is widely touted on television as being “impossible to stain, pleasant to use in the shower, safe from slipping etcetera” Well- surprise! Not one of your claims is true. This is one of two aquarugs which I purchased at a cost of $39.98. A guest used one in my home and suffered a serious fall. That aquarug was discarded. This one proved no different. It is a dangerous product when wet, produces slime on the shower stall floor and is unsightly due to the stains that are absorbed when in use. By copy of this message to the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Consumer Affairs I am alerting those appropriate government bodies about your sleazy sales practices. I expect a response in the form of a cash/check refund in the very near future. [REDACTED]
