The product, in the report: Mainstays Bath Mat

I purchased a Mainstays bathtub mat at Walmart on Monday 7-16-12. Tuesday morning I put it in my tub and began taking a shower before work. As I was washing, the surface of the mat became slippery and caused me to fall hitting my head on the tile wall, the faucet or handle. I’m not sure what I hit because it happened so fast. I went to my doctor’s office and she said I had a concussion. She did a cat scan and it was negative. I had/have a headache, slurred speech, blurred vision, short term memory problems, lightheaded, and nausea. I went to work and was there about an hour and had to leave. I went home and slept for hours. Wednesday I went to work and felt so bad i had my husband call my doctor’s office and they seen me again at 1:45. I felt like I could not think. The doctor wrote me off work for the rest of the week. I have also had severe neck and shoulder pain. The doctor said it could take a month for me to start thinking straight. My job requires a LOT of multi tasking and quick thinking. She also said it should take a week or so for my neck and shoulders/back to feel better. I believe the bath mat caused to happen exactly what it was supposed to prevent. And thankfully it was not one of my children that were the first to use this mat. I have saved everything, the mat, the receipt, and the packaging if any of the numbers would help at all. II wrote a message to Walmart online and I have been contacted by a woman at my local store in Fenton, Michigan where I purchased the mat. I gave her the numbers from my receipt and she said I will be contacted by someone else. I believe this bath mat has a design defect and the smooth texture of the surface is dangerous. Thank you.
