A ADA grab bar for shower twice unexpectedly failed on its own without use. I noticed more reports on the amazon site I bought it since then. This is so unsafe if someone (older or injured) put any weight on it could further be very seriously injured falling down. This is not been used only for if in case when my wife had hip surgery in a stand in shower. She never needed so no use could have lent to its failure. The internal clip is cheap plastic that it fails ON ITS OWN after only few weeks to month. This happed twice so is very dangerous to those who would put any weight on it or use to pull themseleves up.
