The product, in the report: Firenze bath tub

Bought a Firenze bathtub and matching enclosure for my own remodel. It has been in for 9 or 10 months. It was pointed out to me that I have a crack in the bottom of it towards the back where it slants. Its a 4 1/2 inch crack that can be pushed in with the fingers. The water leaks out and runs under the tub and into the basement. I talked to the Home Depot where I purchased it and they were surprised at what was happening to the tub. It can’t be fixed because it is Acrylic (plastic). I was told that it would need to come out and be replaced. I was not happy with their answer. Now my walls, surround and tub with fittings has to be cut out with a sawsall. Now I must decide on what to replace it with. plastic again or fiberglass. I have heard nothing but good about this tub, this is why I purchased it. I just didn’t expect to be destroying my bath again to replace it because of defective merchandise. Now I read that others have and are experiencing the same problems.
