  1. First aid

Made Jun 3, 2011, published by CPSC Jun 24, 2011

The product, in the report: With our 4 shelf high rail design and high quality steel pole and parts, Better Bath gave function back to a commodity item. Here is the link to the manufacturer’s page: http://www.better-bath.com/bathroom-organizers/four-shelf-tension-pole.html Product features: Now extents up to 9 feet in height! 4 spacious shelves. White Duracoat Gloss Finish.

This description is for Tension Pole 4-Shelf Shower Caddy by Better Bath. I have bought this product at Bed Bath and Beyond. It is also available on Amazon.com where I have left a negative review for the product. The structure is very poorly designed - from a pole that does not stay put in place and wiggles like a fishing rod to the shelves that are not properly leveled and do not keep the items in place. This morning, a heavy shampoo bottled that fell down from the top shelf when I tried to get a piece of soap from a lower shelf; the bottle hit my foot and left a huge painfful bruise; I will probably have to seek a medical attention for this injury.top of the umbrella struck the ground in an instant.

Due to the instability of the construction and the fact that it is used in a slippery and wet conditions, I feel that this product is not safe for use by adults and, especially, children.
