The product, in the report: The As Seen on TV Helping Handle claims to be an easy to grip safety handle for the bathroom and household. It is a handle that attaches with suction cups that is supposed to provide extra support in the shower, tub, near the stairs, etc.

I purchased the As Seen on TV Helping Handle, a device that says on the box that it is an instant, easy to grip safety handle for the bathroom and household, today at Marukai Market in Costa Mesa, CA. This item claims to grip any smooth surface in seconds. I wanted to use it to provide extra support in the shower for my mom who recently sprained her ankle. I attached the product, following the directions on the package. It gripped the surface. Within about 30 seconds it popped off the surface. I tried it a number of times with the same result. This is a very dangerous product. Someone could be seriously injured or killed from a fall as a result of the product not attaching as promised. I was told at checkout that this item is not returnable. I believe because they consider it to be a personal care item.
