The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jun 24, 2016, sent to the company Jul 5, 2016, published by CPSC Jul 26, 2016

The product, in the report: Aquarug

I was using the Aquarug in the bathroom when I had lifted my leg to wash under my feet, the mat slipped out from under me and I tried to grab the something to hold on to and when I reached out to grab a hold of the plastic soap holder that is built into the tub, the plastic broke and sliced my hand and the right side of my head and ear hit the tub hard and started to bleed. I decided to report the incident a year later due to my move and finding the box to complain about the product mildewing and not being non-slipping as advertised when I went online and saw the recall posting. I had purchased the product last September I believe. I had taken a picture of the tag on the box which had the date on it.
