Hurt, care not known Made Mar 15, 2012, sent to the company Mar 27, 2012, published by CPSC Apr 10, 2012
The product, in the report: Aqua Glass 78”H x 37-3/4”W x 37-3/4”L White Round Corner Shower Kit with White Frame
Within six months of installing, the floor cracked. Went back to the store to find out if there was an alternative to fixing it other than having the company honor the warranty. To use the warranty meant having to pull the whole shower including the walls to the bathroom and then spending more money to repair a brand new bathroom. They recommended a gel coat/fiberglass repair kit which must be applied in a WELL ventilated area... nearly passed out from the fumes. It worked for a short time, then started coming up around the edges. Six months later it POPPED up off the floor! The shower has constantly leaked from the moment we installed it. I am continually having to apply caulking (water-proof) of course to the new cracks in the floor & around the seams to stop the leaks! My walls are ruined and now there is the possibility of mold / mildew build-up in the walls!
