The product, in the report: Standard tempered glass shower door

45 minutes before his high school graduation party my 18 yo son was just getting out of the shower when glass door suddenly shattered for no reason. I heard the loud noise and went to check on him to find him leaning against the wall in a sea of glass bleeding profusely from his right leg and multiple other cuts on his arms and legs. After calling for help I was able to apply pressure to the right leg to help stop the bleeding and assess other cuts discovering one on his left leg was also pretty severe. He was covered with small shards of glass. After several minutes the bleeding was controlled enough we were able to get him to the ER. The deepest cuts were X-rayed for glass, cleaned and stitched up. One deep stitch and 6 outside stitches on the right leg and 1 stitch in the left leg and other cuts cleaned. I would have never expected this danger in our bathroom. What if he had been home alone? It could have cut an artery. It could have cut his face. Glass in his eyes. We were extremely fortunate I this consumers need to be made aware of these issues.
