First aid Made Nov 12, 2017, sent to the company Dec 5, 2017, published by CPSC Dec 19, 2017
The product, in the report: Semi-frameless bro-angle glass shower enclosure
A glass shower enclosure manufactured by keystone/maxx and sold at Home Depot spontaneously exploded in the middle of the night. The damaged panel supported the shower door which also fell, but did not break. Shards of glass covered the bathroom floor. Aside from a small cut on the bottom of my foot, no injuries occurred thankfully as the shower was not in use, as it was 2:30 am when the door failed.

The product, in the report: It was frameless glass shower door made by Keystone who was bought out by MAXX a Canadian Company.
This incident happened at my vacation home. I entered my shower and when I closed my shower door it jammed. I tried to lift the door back on the track and it came completely off the track. I lifted the door to put it back on the track and the shower door exploded. It sounded like a gun shot, I sustained lacerations on my thigh, feet, thumb, and lacerations. My husband said this door has a poor design. The door was made by Keystone.
