The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Tempered Glass Shower Door

On February 3 at 4:40 AM, my tempered glass shower door shattered on its own.

    It was a frightening experience.

The manufacturer/supplier as well as the installer are brushing it off, saying ‘it just happens’.

I don’t think it just happens. From articles online, I believe our glass door is an unsafe product. Articles state that a manufacturing flaw, or improper installation are the leading causes of tempered glass doors shattering.

I believe I have encountered an unsafe product.
