The product, in the report: Frame-less Shower door
We had a frame-less shower door installed in October, 2014 by Coral Concepts, 8220 Louetta Road, Spring, Texas. In March, 2015 my husband was awaken by a strange noise in the middle of the night. He got up to investigate and found that the shower door had shattered into thousands of small pieces. He had showered about 12 hours before the event. There was no evidence of the house settling (the house is13 years old). In the bill for replacing the door, it was noted that there had been a storm earlier in the day. We find it very concerning that a storm would cause this event and feel that such a product should not be sold as storms are not rare in Houston. The manufacturer of the door was Craftsman Fabricated Glass of Houston, Texas.
