Emergency room Made Jun 15, 2011, published by CPSC Jul 8, 2011
The product, in the report: Glass Shower Door
shower door shattered into very small, sharp shards after simply being pulled in a normal way. There was no stress on the door. The door had not been hit by anything. the door had not fallen. It had no visible cracks. It had been installed in October 2007. Only one side shattered. It seemed to explode all over the bathroom. My son had to have 5 stitches in each of two fingers. He was covered in glass.
