The product, in the report: 5000 watts generator 4 or 5 gallon tank
Consumer assembled the generator in his garage and put a half gallon of gas inside to start it. The consumer made sure it worked and turn it off, then shut the off valve, which is a secondary device. The generator was then put away for storage and the consumer placed the gas cans outside the garage. The consumer went to add more gas and notice a gas odor inside of the garage. The consumer moved his van, because he thought gas was coming from it. After the van was moved he still smelled the gas odor. Additionally, some plywood near the generator was covered in gas. The plywood was a short distance from the generator, but it was sitting on the floor.
Consumer noticed the tank emptied itself after about 2 days of being topped with fuel. Consumer also discovered the gasket had completely crumbled. The generator is currently not used. The consumer devise a homemade gasket to enable him to use the generator temporarily.
Consumer stated there was no property damage and no physical damages
