I am writing to report a catastrophic safety failure involving a Nature’s Generator Elite unit purchased in 2021. At approximately 6:00 a.m., the unit spontaneously caught fire, resulting in a severe blaze that completely destroyed my greenhouse. [REDACTED] Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene at 06:05 a.m. to suppress the heavy fire. The unit was connected to solar panels at the time, but it was completely idle. Please note the specific conditions that rule out external factors:No Active Charging: The incident occurred at 6:05 a.m. Because it was dark outside prior to sunrise, the solar panels were completely dormant and not producing or feeding any current into the system.Main Power Switch Off: The units main power switch was turned completely off. The generator was not outputting power to any appliances or devices. No Moisture/Water Exposure: Although the structure is classified as a greenhouse, it was not being used for plants. It served strictly as a dry storage room. There was zero water or moisture present to cause an external short. As noted in the [REDACTED] Fire Rescue report, the equipment involved in the ignition was the battery/charging system itself. The unit suffered a spontaneous internal failure likely a catastrophic thermal runaway event within the battery cells while sitting entirely idle in a dark, dry, and cool environment. Component Involved: Internal battery cells / Battery Management System (BMS)
