The product, in the report: 6000 WATT PROPANE GENERATOR MADE BY ALL-POWER. Model # APG 3560 that I intended to use as a backup power source
I went to hook up my All-Power LP Gas 6000 Watt generator Model APG 3560 and found all the rubber LP Gas lines were rotted and fallen apart. Can you imagine the terrible explosion risk that posed? Fortunately, I saw it before I hooked it up to my LP gas tank and tried to run it. I showed the hoses to the seller (FARM AND HOME SUPPLY KEOKUK IA) and they said that they no longer handled that brand, and it was out of warranty. I then went to all 5 or 6 propane and propane part suppliers in the area and nobody had ever seen such fittings to be able to put new hose on. I called the manufacturer and asked if they had improved the material that the hoses were made of and they said no, but would sell me the set of 3 for about $150 (part #s APG3560-I-13-JD; #APG3560-I-17-JD, AND APG3560-I-16-JD) (also known as part #s JF200LPG-I-02, JF200LPG-I-05, and JF200LPG-I-03) I really would like to return it for a refund so that I could buy one from a reputable manufacturer, and see a recall on all of them before others get injured, killed, or have their house burned down. I may settle for a new hose set made out of safe materials. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOUR CAR HAD SUCH FAULTY FUEL LINE MATERIALS THAT WERE RUINED AFTER JUST 5 YEARS SITTING IN A GARAGE????

The product, in the report: All Power 6000 watt gasoline generator model APG 3260. It is red in color and is mounted to a black steel frame with 8 inch wheels. It weighs 189 lbs. and holds 6.6 gallons of gasoline.
All Power Generator model APG3260 is assembled with the gas line on top of the air filter case. Either the heat from the air filter case is melting the gas line or the vibrations from the air filter case is cutting into the gas line. Either way, the top of the air filter case is severing the gas line. This is due to poor assembly and quality control. The gas line on my generator is almost halfway severed, to the point where gasoline is leaking out of the severed gas line. I caught it just in time and was able to shut down the machine before a fire ensued. Three of my neighbors have the same generator and their gas lines are also installed in the same manner. Their gas lines are being severed from the air filter cases as well. This is not an isolated event, as i am aware of these four incidents with the same generator.
