As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Jan 7, 2026, sent to the company Jan 12, 2026, published by CPSC Jan 29, 2026

The product, in the report: Ordered this from target as a third party seller and tried to read material and warnings to make informed purchase. I tested it for lead paint and there is lead paint realizing this product is advertised forkids and babies on the sorbus website but does not follow ASTM lead standards There is a claim on the box that says kids friendly but not supported by their testing standards. Initially they sent me a purple color by mistake and I exchanged for the correct pink but I included both upc codes

These dressers are advertised for kids and babies and they do NOT meat the standards for lead its also not advertised that it has lead and there is lead paint on the painted wood panel on the side. I purchased this on target and attempted to leave a review which looks like they do not publish my concern. They have several sizes of this same style and suspect they all have lead all designed for you organization, kids rooms and baby nursery and not following ASTM standards for children furniture. We used this product in the baby closet. No injury occurred, we got a lead test from the doctor
