The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Oct 9, 2020, sent to the company Jan 12, 2021, published by CPSC Jan 28, 2021

The product, in the report: https://www.roomstogo.com/furniture/product/star-wars-tie-fighter-and-trade-gray-desk/36711617 SKU:36711617 Star Wars Tie FIghter Desk (furniture) from Rooms To Go PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Get in the creative spirit with the Star Wars inspired TIE fighter™ desk. Known throughout the galaxy as the sentry ships of choice for the Death Star™, the solidly constructed base has a gray finish and powder coated steel construction that features “carbonite” textured details. The clear tempered glass top is sunken, creating two sides that will keep projects on the desk and off the floor. Dimensions: 40”w x 28.5”d x 35”h SKU:36711617

This is a desk that seems to wobble forward if the flooring is carpet. It can fall forward on a child. To secure it, I had gone to [REDACTED] to buy safety anchors straps for dresser drawers in their baby section. Once installed, the desk no longer wobbles. The product, in the report: Office desk with glass top

We have a desk with a glass top in one of our bedrooms. The glass exploded for no apparent reason sending pieces of glass flying across the room. The force of the glass exploding damaged the bed next to the desk and pieces of the glass got stuck in a cardboard box that was in the rooms. The was glass on the floor nearly 10 feet away from the desk.

The product, in the report: Hanah Montana 5 Drawer Chest

Our daughter’s bedroom furniture is loaded with glass knobs on the dresser drawers, night stand drawers, bedposts, trundle bed and vanity. On Monday, Jaunary 9, 2012, she tried to open the drawer on the dresser and cut her finger. Upon investigation, a grinding noise was noted from several knobs.

This is a second incident of the same nature. First time was on April 19, 2010
