Item: Philomena 7 Drawer Dresser made by Lark Manor purchased from Wayfair.com. Wayfair order number 2855872685, placed on Nov 01, 2018. This is a 7 drawer dresser that is extremely heavy.
Some of the drawers were pulled out which then made the dresser front heavy. My daughter was standing in front of the dresser and my back was turned. I heard the dresser falling, landing on my daughter. I am 6 months pregnant and had to pick this dresser off my daughter. She was crying hysterically, her hand was black and blue and she couldn’t walk on her leg. We rushed her to the ER here in Maryland where she had x-rays taken. She is now going through therapy for her leg.
This could have been a very tragic situation as my daughter is 2yr, weights 35lbs and this dresser weighs 173lbs. The bottom of the dresser has four circle legs that get small at the bottom. We feel that this dresser is very unsafe and should be recalled.
