No one hurt Made Nov 17, 2011, sent to the company Dec 9, 2011, published by CPSC Dec 23, 2011
The product, in the report: Munire Furniture Armoire
Our 35 pound, 4 year old daughter was helping to put clothes into the bottom drawer of the Munire furniture Armoire. This piece was purchased as part of baby furniture set from the Baby Store in Michigan. This armoire weighs around 200 pounds. She put her weight on the bottom drawer and the entire armoire toppled over. Luckily it was caught at about a 45 degree angle on the bed so she was not injured. Had the bed not been there it would have fallen on our daughter. We have always been very cautious but could not foresee that a 35 pound child could pull over a 200 pound armoire. Upon further investigation, both the armoire and the book case from the set are extremely top heavy. We just want to make sure that something like this does not happen to anyone else.
