The product, in the report: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XXWKBRS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is an L-shaped metal framed desk with black tempered glass surfaces. I purchased it in Nov 2021 and have used it moderately with only my laptop and mouse on the surface that shattered. That side of the L actually had less use than the other part.
I was using my desk that has a tempered glass top. There was no weight (except my laptop) or heat on it. I heard a loud bang and the glass tabletop exploded - I have glass up to 10’ away and on surfaces that were higher than the desk itself. There were no injuries.
