The product, in the report: Stand up desk purchased from Amazon. FEZIBO 55 x 26 Inch Electric Standing Desk with Monitor Stand, light walnut Sold by FEZIBO ASIN: B0BPM235Q1 Link to desk: https://a.co/d/7jEOyTl
I purchased a standing desk from Amazon. I was usually it daily for my work- 40 hours a week. No injuries. I bought a lead test after learning a lot of Amazon furniture was testing positive for lead. My desk has lead paint on it and all around the edges of the particle board. Seller refuses to acknowledge the lead. Im looking into proper disposal. I have images and video from when I did the lead test.

No one hurt Made Jul 6, 2023, sent to the company Jul 10, 2023, published by CPSC Jul 24, 2023
The product, in the report: Product Brand: Fezibo Description: Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk 24”D x 48”W x 27.7”H, Rustic Brown, Wood Finish Model: YFSP02.02.SKQ0301 ASIN: B08D73C9FH
On July 4th, 2023, the hand control module of a Fezibo standup desk overheated to the point where smoke was detected and the outer casing of the unit was melted. At the time, the unit was not being used and had not been cycled for several months. The unit was plugged into a surge protector and it is not believed that a power surge caused the malfunction. In fact, the unit had stopped working several months prior to this incident. It is believed that if we did not detect the overheating, this incident could have caused a fire inside the home, given its location attached to a wood veneer desk.
