How badly anyone was hurt

  • No one hurt 4 CPSC: Incident, No Injury

As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 31, 2021, sent to the company Mar 3, 2021, published by CPSC Mar 17, 2021

The product, in the report: CB2 tall Junction dresser

My two-year old started to pull out each drawer and by the time she got to the third drawer it started to fall on her. Thankfully I caught it right before it fell on top of her.

The product, in the report: Dresser - CB2

CPSC has been “crying wolf”, and now I can’t tell what is a real hazard, and what is not. E.g. They claimed that CB2 dressers supplied with wall anchor kits can be used without anchors, while I think such misuse would increase risk to my family, so should not be advertised as a legitimate use case. Now I guess I will be safe if I do not check my surroundings when backing up my car, and use tools without required PPE?

  4. No one hurt

Made Apr 17, 2020, sent to the company Apr 24, 2020, published by CPSC May 8, 2020

The product, in the report: CB2. White 4 drawer dresser , bought by me directly from CB2 approximately a year and half ago .

The dresser is used for linen , no injuries occurred , this is a major safety concern. When I opened multiple drawers I realized that it is not stable and could tip over quickly . It was in the hallway adjacent to our 2 year old room which could be very dangers . I wanted to report this so that you check this product carefully, I took it out of my house and I think so should other people .
