The product, in the report: Babyletto Lolly 6 drawer dresser
Have owned a Babyletto Lolly 6-drawer dresser for two years. This product is marketed and sold for newborns and infants. In that time, the drawer slides have become loose and fell off the track. The glide mechanism is built from 20 ball bearings, when the drawer comes off the tracks, the ball bearings become loose and fall into the infants clothing and can be easily swallowed.

The product, in the report: Babyletto Sprout 3-Drawer Changer Dresser with Removable Changing Tray in Chestnut and Natural
I purchased the Babyletto Sprout dresser in 2023 in preparation for the birth of my first child. After 10 months of normal use, the dresser has started spewing ball bearings at random when the drawers are opened. The ball bearings are small, but absolutely pose a choking hazard for small children, and my child is at the age where he will pick up anything he finds and put it in his mouth. We are gentle with our belongings, but I don’t think force has anything to do with when or why the ball bearings come loose, because I watched my tiny 10 month old pull the bottom drawer open gently and saw a ball come flying out. I have found 6 ball bearings around his room so far, two of which I had to pry out of my child’s hands. I reached out to Babyletto to ask if they had suggestions for what I could do to fix the issue and ensure that it is safe to continue using, but their customer service team said my product is no longer under warranty, and thus they would not help. I asked them to at least escalate the issue to someone higher up to see if they could fix the design flaw so that future consumers aren’t putting their little ones in danger, but it does not seem like they are interested in looking into the issue.
