The product, in the report: DVR Recorder

12/13/2015 - The consumer was watching television in her bedroom when her daughter told her that she smelled smoke. The consumer and her daughter looked everywhere in their condominium because they could not locate the source. 12/16/2015 (Approximate) - The consumer contacted her local Fire Department and they referred her to the U.S. CPSC.

The consumer indicates that the unit is plugged in 24/7.
