Hurt, no treatment Made Jan 29, 2013, sent to the company Feb 6, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 21, 2013
The product, in the report: Karaoke Machine
My 10 year old daughter was using The Singing Karaoke Center machine (model #STVG-519) on Sunday January 27, 2013. Use was in accordance with the manual provided. This unit was a Christmas present and use had been solely by her for 1 month. While using the microphone she received an electric shock to the hand. The machine lost power and has not powered up since. I have ruled out a problem with the outlet being utilized at the time.
It is my concern this product is not safe for children and poses a potential safety and fire hazard.
